This article approaches the problems of Vladimir Besleaga’s literary publicistics. The writer discusses the pressing issues of the transition from totalitarian society to a new society, a democratic one. Publicistics most of all is centered upon identification of national consciousness, cultural heritage and European values ​​ the process of synchronizing with in the Romanian literary phenomena. The author repeatedly refers to the problems of his own creativity; he presents his workshop, focusing on the genesis of his novels.
