The institution of the statute of Kosovo province, granting independence by the Mediation Group, formed by the European Union, the Russian Federation and the USA, or the recognition of the self-proclaimed independence of the Serbian province, without taking into consideration the results of the bilateral negotiations and their continuation till the adoption of a decision corresponding to the norms and principles unanimously recognized by the international community, represents a judiciary precedent with serious consequences in the evolution of international situation and of international law. I consider that the solution of the conflict situation between the representatives of the Kosovo region, as integral part of the territory of Republic of Serbia and of the Serbian State, should be realized by respecting the Resolution of the Security Council 1244 of June 10, 1999, of fundamental principles of the sovereign equality of states, territorial integrity and inviolability of state frontiers, self-determination of peoples and not of one or some national minorities.
