Rezumat

Personality is a set of bio-physio-psychological characteristics that allows an adaptation to the environment. An important role in defining personality is played by the family. The family, the family climate and the relationships between family members are able to make their mark, sometimes decisively, on the behavior of people in society, on the way they fulfill their duties, on the values they promote, on how to relate to social realities in general. The humanistic approach studies personality as a social conditional structure, looking for the sources of the human psyche in social interactions. The system of the complex social sphere contributes exclusively to the formation of life positions, to the realization of the personal values of the human being. There is an underestimation of the biological side, with genetic factors playing a secondary role. The consequence that derives from this point of view is in a race of natural, continuous development and the appearance of personality distortion effects. Most parents take over the educational model they received or do exactly the opposite, if they were not satisfied. experience of their own parents. Practically, each family forms its own educational style, which implies the unity (harmonic or disharmonious) of the personal parental styles of both parents. The factors that influence the defining elements of the family are: economic, social, moral, legal, they must be particularly related to family constitutions, concluded marriage, relations between spouses, relations between parents and children in the whole family life. Each stage of development in the life cycle has a dominant characteristic, a complex of features or a specific crisis, which distinguishes it from both previous stages and what will follow.
