Protecting consumer rights has always been a global goal. The pandemic accentuated the importance and topicality of the researched subject, because during this period most purchases take place online, and consumers must know their rights. The scope is to inform citizens about their rights as consumers in the online environment, whether they buy from local or international sites. Following the research, we came to the conclusion that although each state has hers own legislation, international treaties are applied and any consumer problem can be solved, it is important that the consumer is informed and defends his interests. |
