Rezumat

The present research is aimed at the operation of gasoline fuel injection systems for different regimes regarding the engine speed and air intake pressure in the manifold. Uncovering the mathematical corelations between engine speed in complete operation and the air fuel parameters in the engine’s supply system. The motor-sport competitions leads to operating conditions that are quite chalenging for the engine and its coresponding systems. Gasoline fuel injection systems with electronic control it is based on different corelations between operational parameters. There is a corelation between engine speed and manifold pressure of air intake. Fuel injection duty, which represent the percentage rate of opening the injector needle for the fuel supply process is also related to the crankshaft speed. The most comprehensive and adapted to simple mathematical rules is the relation between ignition advance and the engine speed. It is presented the simplified schematic of conecctions and electric links between data operational players. The results obtained from the experimental research show the trend line for each determined parameter. Thus are defined base line parameters such as engine speed for two thirds of the expressed results and the ignition advance for the rest of them. Engine speed leads to an certain proportional – not o strictly direct one – increase in ignition advance, in air intake manifold pressure. The engine speed range is at low level according to usual motorsport operational scenario. Other study will show more parameter variation.
