Autorul pune în discuție problema dreptului la educație ca drept fundamental al omului, copiilor, menționând faptul că părinții trebuie să garanteze educația copiilor lor aigurîndu-le suportul. Autorul dezvăluie în speță probemele cu care se confruntă o categorie specifică de copii cu acces „limitat” la procesul instructiv-educativ. Articolul este centrat pe caracterizarea situației dificile ale comunității rrome, ilustrate prin repere istorice recente; prezentarea dezvoltarii bunelor practici de protecție și asistență socială a rromilor promovate la diferite niveluri ale infrastructurii sociale române, susținute financiar și legisltaiv de Uniunea Europeană. Astfel, autorul prezintă principalele probleme și bunele practici legate de școlarizarea și instruirea copiilor de etnie rromă în România.

The author underlines the problem of right to education as the fundamental right of the human, child, mentioning the role of parents that should guarantee the education to thei children, assuring their entire support. The author reveals namely the problems faced by a specific category of children with “limited” access to the instructive-educational process. The article is focused on characterizing the difficult situation of the Rroma community, illustrated by recent historical background; presenting the development of good practices of social protection and assistance of Rroma people promoted at different levels of the social infrastructure of Romania, sustained financially and legaly by the European Union. Thus, the author elucidates the main problems and good practices related to the education and training of Rroma children in Romania.
