Rezumat

Recently, I’ve read an article entitled “Mom, you earned enough money to buy another childhood?”. It ended also tragically as the title sounds: “I’m standing alone and run away of love and fear to not get used with it as in childhood, and then one would steal it with a sum of money. Mother, there is no money that can replace you.” Reading the article, I saw with my heart eyes, the child sad eyes with an empty gaze that are in a continuous waiting. These are the children left at home with parents with virtual and bank account manifestation, children from temporary disintegrated families. There is only one suitable name for this reality: disintegration. In other words, it is impossible to recover. The emotional emptiness produced by the separation of a parent or even both has the same dimensions as the emotional emptiness produced in the situation of parents’ divorce, or as in the situation of parent death and the effect is definitive. “Home alone children” represents a new social phenomenon in Romania. There are about 85000 of children left without one or two parents that left the country for a job abroad. The leave of parents brings in children life an emotional emptiness, affective imbalance, factors of major risk in evolution. At the emotional level these children are perceived as children lack of hope, of certainty of a happy future, children without any support in any activity, children without support in decisive moments of their lives, children that all the time are reserved and have tendencies of isolation, lacking the desire to communicate with others. The emotional imbalance gets an obvious manifestation in children socialization leading to isolation, aggressiveness, opposition, conflict, marginalization.
