Rezumat | ||||||
The purpose of the research is to study the motivation system of the employees from the local public authorities and to identify possibilities for increasing motivation at the workplace. An analysis of work needs and motivational factors, both intrinsic and extrinsic, shows the degree of motivation of an employee from a public authority and the persistence of his behaviour in order to achieve individual and organizational goals. The study shows that it is necessary to implement methods to stimulate employee motivation in local public authorities. Applied to the public sector, the civil servant motivation system would include strategies, methods, techniques and tools for financial and non-financial motivation - material incentives, career development, work content, working conditions, organizational climate, team spirit, and work recognition. |
