Rezumat

The article examines some approaches to the phenomenon of power, mechanisms and levers to achievepower in Republic of Moldova, and the relationship between governance and effectiveness of democratic reforms, promoted by the national political class through the process of European integration. Special attention is given to the brief analysis of the issue such as: „good governance” and its constituent components, to the update of old social and political cleavages and the necessity to promote specific goals in our country regarding the Europeanization of society.
