The study was performed in order to determine the main physical, hydrophysical and chemical indices of certain soils from Lipova fruit tree growing area. The main soil types are the luvisols and preluvisols with different pseudogleying degrees in Bt horizon and erosion processes on the inclined lands. A decrease of the sand and dust content and an increase of the clay content were noticed on the soil profile analyzed. The air-filled porosity value degreases on the soil profile having higher values in the superficial strata and lower as the depth increases. A strong acid reaction in AB, Btw1, Btw2, BC and C horizons and the appearance of mobile alluminium were registered. Thus, in Btw1 horizon a pH value of 5,00 is registered. The humus content has low values on the soil profile, while the mobile phosphorus and the mobile potassium show very high and high values on the soil profile. |
