The paper presents data of laboratory and field trials of the effectiveness of the drug "Bitox" against the Colorado beetle (Leptinotarsa desementane Say.) оn potato, cabbage moth (Plutella xylostella L.) and cabbage whortleberry (Pieris brassica L.) on cabbage, yellow gooseberryfly (Pteronidea ribesii Scop.) оn gooseberries, spider mite ( Tetranichus urtica Koch.) аnd whitefly ( Trialeurodes vaporariorum West.) оn cucumbers and soybeans. Studies carried out in 2015 against dangerous pests of vegetable crops and berry crops in open and protected ground, showed that "Bitox" has a high insecticidal activity (efficiency and 72,4-100%) and is characterized by safety to humans. The use of the drug increases potato yield by 13%, cabbage by 14,9%. |
