The present scientific approach aims to synthesize information about the currents that pupils have to acquire in the parameters specified by the current programs and the common sense of the general culture, to experiment with traditional and modern methods in the reception of cultural and literary trends, to provide practical solutions for the purpose of forming the competences, values and attitudes specified by the curriculum documents: ,,the context of the texts studied in relation to the epoch or the cultural / literary streams”1 (general competence), ,,the development of cultural representations on the evolution and values of Romanian literature”2 (values and attitudes), ,,identifying and explaining the relations between the studied literary work and the cultural context in which it has emerged, developing an overview of the Romanian cultural phenomenon, identifying links between Romanian and universal literature, appropriate use of the techniques of documenting and researching a theme” 3 (specific skills).
