Rezumat

This article presents the results of the investigations as regards the sexual behaviour of the insects in favourable circumstances for their existence as well as in conditions of the environment saturated with molecules of the sexual pheromone of synthetic origins. For the fi rst time it was demonstrated the mechanism of the infl uence that the environment saturated with pheromone has on all the stages of development of Mamestra brassicae, Heliothis armigera, and Agrotis segetum. It was demonstrated that the environment saturated with pheromone does not lead to the blockage of the sexual relations between the sexes (that means the effect of disorientation of the males). It was revealed, that for the period of insects’ growth under the infl uence of the environment saturated with pheromone have occurred essential deviations at the etymological level as well as at the physiological level, which cause a considerable reduction of the density of the pests population (about 70-85%).
