A fost demonstrat că eficienţa biologică (insecticidă sau antifidantă) a extractului în combaterea dăunătorului Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say. nu se deosebeşte esenţial pe parcursul perioadei de păstrare. Astfel, a fost apreciat că extractul din Veratrum lobelianum Bernh. poate fi pregătit în cantităţi necesare pe parcursul întregului an.

The change of alkaloids amount in vegetable extract from Veratrum lobelianum Bernh. plant in the process of storage during one calendar year was studied. It was established that the active substances of Veratrum lobelianum are very stable compounds, and storing the extract in soldered ampoules at the temperature of 22 24оС during at least 365 days they are not ruined. Also it was determined that the biological (insecticide and antifeedante) activity of the vegetable extract against Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say. larva and imago in the process of storage, incidentally changes. As a result we have established that the alcoholic extract from Veratrum lobelianum plant is possible to be prepared from the necessary quantity of ready raw material during the whole calendar year.
