The better ability of the root system to use moisture and nutrients from the soil by its more intensive development and the sucking strength of the roots was provided It was established that the main mass of active chickpea roots is located in the arable soil layer (0-20-25 cm) and in the last arable soil the number of roots decreases sharply. Studying the root system of different varieties of chickpeas, depending on soil erosion under natural conditions, we traced the distribution of roots inland and to the sides, determined their weight in the arable and subsurface soil layers. |
