Rezumat

In order to understand the formation and growth mechanisms of Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe), various chemical reactions and their enthalpies in mixtures of ZnSe, SnSe or CuSe with CdI2 were investigated in closed vacuum ampoules. For analysis, DTA, XRD, SEM, EDX, and Raman spectroscopy were used. By investigating changes in phase composition and in process enthalpies the occurring chemical reactions and their enthalpies were derived. The experimental results confirm intermediate formation of ZnxCd1-xSe in ZnSe-CdI2 and of CdSe and iodides in SnSe or CuSe mixtures by exchange reaction.
