Ion Certan, Microfinance and rural areas in the Republic of Moldova. Republic of Moldova is dominated by rural area. The sustainable development of rural area is depend of the formation and distribution of financial sources. Today the financial sector is still resilient to the effects of the financial crisis, but its capacity to credit the economy, in the current circumstances, is seriously affected. Aiming the most vulnerable part of population they start building of national microfinance system. Authors considers in this article the identification of possible types of financial sources, specific for rural area and specialized institutions where it may be taken.
