A political leader is characterized by charisma, courage and inspi-ration. Typically, these qualities are achieved through a speech, often persuasive. The model of speech and the image of the political leader are very well represented by the media. In this sense, television is the main instrument and most effective in manipu-lating the masses, being used to change public opinion and create divergences between everyday reality and television in the electoral debates. |
