Article 286 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova states: "Goods can move freely, except when their movement is restricted or prohibited by law". This rule establishes the presumption, according to which any item of goods can move freely, that is it can be a subject of any civil legal act, unless there is a prohibition established by law. It is important that both the restriction and prohibition of goods movement must be only determined by law. 156 |
