Autorul articolului Măştile de S.Lungu, în redacţia interpretativă a profesorului L.Vaverco, tratează unele particularităţi ale stilului pianistic al cunoscutului compozitor din Moldova S.Lungu pe baza operei Măştile. Această operă a căpătat o mare popularitate, atât în Republica Moldova, cât şi peste hotarele ei, în mare măsură, datorită redacţiei interpretative profesionale a profesorului L.Vaverco. Graţie acestei redactări, în operă au fost rezolvate probleme legate de articulare, de plasarea confortabilă a notelor, de pedalizare, de aplicare şi desigur de nuanţare, ce în mare măsură serveşte la dezvăluirea conţinutului expresiv al operei. În redacţia interpretativă Măştile de S.Lungu, prof. L.Vaverco a generalizat bogata sa experienţă pedagogică, ceea ce a făcut posibilă includerea în practica interpretativă a operei menţionate.

In the article „The Masks” by S.Lungul edited by professor L.Vaverko” the author introduces the readers to some peculiarities of piano style of the famous Moldovan composer S.Lungul by analysing his work „The Masks” which has acquired fame and popularity both in Moldova and abroad due to the keen and highly skilled editing of professor L.Vaverko. Owing to this editing the problems of articulation comfortable transposition and distribution of music texture for hands, pedaling, fingering and, of course, shading which, to a considerable extent, facilitates the revelation of the artistic concept of the piese. In editing „The Masks” by S.Lungul professor Vaverko generalised her rich performing and teaching experience which led to the introduction of this complex and masterly play into performing practice.
