This paper presents the study of the range of vegetable oils used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Research has been done on bibliographic data on the effects of 6 types of oils on the human body. The merceological study of vegetable oils used in cosmetology was realized for: almond oil, peach oil, linseed oil, grape seed oil, sea buckthorn, mustard oil by carrying out organoleptic and physico-chemical analyzes according to the requirements of normative acts (Technical Regulation) and specialized literature. Laboratory research proves the high quality of the studied oils, and the individual values of the organoleptic and physicochemical indices fall within the prescribed rules. The investigated oils can be used as a raw material for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
