It is noted the role and methods of planning in ensuring sustainable growth in the profitability of long-term material assets. It is emphasized the expediency of using the method of simulation. The basis of this method is the scenario approach, which is realized with the help of a set of mathematical methods, special simulating computer programs and programming technologies.
