Rezumat | |||||||
Liver transplantation is a complex, time-consuming operation that requires vascular reconstruction of the hepatic artery, the portal vein, and the hepatic venous system. A number of complications can be anticipated after transplantation including perioperative, and surgical complications, and immunologic and infectious disorders. A liver transplant may involve the whole liver, a reduced liver, or a liver segment. Segmental transplant allows two recipients to be transplanted from one cadaveric donor. |
