It is presented a literature review on stroke as a major health and social problem, responsible for the annually death over five million people in the world. This is the main cause of adult disability, that causes great social and economic costs. Are highlighted the levels of stroke’s incidence and prevalence in different countries and in the Republic of Moldova, established the main risk factors in the development of stroke. It is noted that a better understanding of risk factors and symptoms of stroke can facilitate medical interventions aimed to reducing the morbidity by acute circulatory disorders and mortality caused by stroke. |

Это главная причина инвалидности взрослого населения, обуславливающая большие социально-экономические расходы. Выявлена частота инсультов в различных странах и в Республике Молдова, установлены основные факторы риска в их развитии. Подчеркивается, что знание факторов риска и симптомов инсульта помогает разработке и внедрению мероприятий по уменьшению острых нарушений кровообращения мозга и случаев смерти. </em></p></description> </descriptions> <formats> <format>application/pdf</format> </formats> </resource>
