Background. Morfofunctional circulatory changes of the placental complex are usually responsible for retardation in intrauterine fetal developing (RIFD) but because of morfopathological research of the placental complex vascular network is performed postnatally it is important to establish a correlation between circulatory disorders evidenced by pathological investigation and by the dopplerography. Material and methods. Mathematical assessment of histopathological changes detected in 30 fetal placental complexes with (n=15) and without (n=15) RIFD was performed and compared with peculiarities detected by ultrasound dopplerography. Methods of variational, correlational, regressional, cluster (dendrograms) analysis, multiple scanning, histograms were applied. Assessment of documented morfopathological features in co-report with ultrasonography data was performed concerning to circulatory levels of the complex: umbilical cord, vilar chorion, intervilous zone. Results. Mathematical assessment established indicative statistical dependencies for assessment of the level of circulatory disorders in the placental complex and correlations with estimated fetal weight and predictive impact on it. Conclusion. Morfopathological lesions responsible for circulatory failure (CF) development are mainly localized in vilar chorion and intervilous space (p< 0,05), are determined by changes in blood fl ow in the uteroplacental zone, with the reflection upon the estimated fetal weight r=-0,91 for CF established histopathological and r =-0,86 for CF attest by ultrasonography, the last one has the predictive role in fetal weight estimation y=3,6866-1,097 x. |
