<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>Overall, in Moldova, the effectiveness of structures and functions of managing of environmental protection is low. A higher level of efficiency is found to function of evaluation and monitoring of 
the impact exerted by the Sanitary-Epidemiological Service, Institute of Ecology and Geography and the Hydrometeorological Service. Minimum efficiency is found in local public authorities, institutions and special branch, and the coordination and forecasting performance.</description>
