Soviet re-occupation of Bessarabia in 1944 brought in already known to locals kept antinational regime of terror and robbery. The immediate result of this fatal worst was a famine frightening changes, as there had been in never land. Complete lack of products normal food for a population very large (in some regions, for most people, in others - virtually the entire population), eating plants and byproducts agro harmful, corpses and carcasses caused a great increase in morbidity. It is understood that this refers mainly to the villages to the cities, where they live and Soviet nomenclature, were assisted with food better, which of course were taken by force from the peasants. One of the most affected districts in MSSR was the Cahul district, where statistics show that an impressive number of dead persons had suffered from Duchenne again as a fairly large number. In general phenomenon called - famine brought only fear and destruction of lives. The period 1946-1947 was, so to speak, a pretty black period in the history of our people. |
