Rezumat

To benefit from the results of the human civilization, we should accept diversity and have a behavior appropriate for cultural interference. In this case, the approach to education and society from the intercultural perspective is becoming an imperative of the postmodern society. Intercultural education aims to develop an education for everyone by recognizing the existing differences within the same community. An education designed from the intercultural perspective will express the relationship between the school and other educational areas, and it will overcome the walls of the school, thus extending it in informal activities. Intercultural society implies cohabitation among different cultural, religious and ethnic groups under the conditions of interaction and connection, exchange and mutual recognition of the styles regarding their organization of life and values. Intercultural Education deals with the educational process from the viewpoint of cultural diversity, and it considers the phenomenon of cultural interaction (people, cultures, religions, speakers of different languages, people who have different opinions and concepts etc.). Intercultural education is an ideological option in the democratic societies, and it also aims to prepare the future citizens so that they can make the best choice in the contexts of the value systems multiplication.
