<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>With the use of a great documentation, scientifically elaborated, the author of the study, a critic and a literary historian, a historian of culture, do a survey and a brief analysis of the first printings on the Romanian territory in the sixteenth century, characte/ rizing it as a flourishing period of the Romanian culture. In the opinion of the investigator, these printings are a consequence of internal evolution of Romanian society. Having a high circulation, they have created a typographic tradition increasing not only the treasure of Romanian spirituality but also the entire culture of the southeastern Europe. </description>
