Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez is one of the main exponents of magic realism. Already a genetic attraction to those like itself results in the deletion of the whole family Buendía and Macondo from the earth. Ursula’s caution and vigilance were not able to face inertia of prescribed fate of those condemned to solitude. Rehearsal of names, facts, gestures, thoughts, dreams, prophecies are multiplied as in a mirror, so as Narcis doubled his image in the water mirror. Hallucinatory replay of the same image is an indicator of the sense of loss sheer origins and meaning of life.
