There are many arguments pleading for the elaboration of a work dedicated to the demographical transformations, transformations of the family life and population’s health, for the reason that the sustainable socio-economic development of any country depends mostly on the formation and usage of the human potential. The main tasks of this work consist in mediating the present demographic situation, its developmental tendencies and the reasoning of the decisions that could improve it. We can state that the future of any country, and its sustainable development entirely depend on the way the demographic problems will be solved, as well as on the policies meant to ensure the stability of the population number and the taken actions regarding alleviating of the consequences the ageing process. The paper also presents the results of a comparative research in the field of demographics in highly developed countries and the developing ones.
