December 21, 2013 we celebrated 30 years since the founding of the National Museum of History of Moldova. On this occasion the museum has organized several events. Program of the day began with a Round Table “Policies for conservation and restoration of the museum heritage in the Republic of Moldova”. Then, the general director of the museum Eugen Sava opened a solemn assembly in the museum’s Blue Room. During the meeting there were presented congratulatory words addressed to the participants, public figures, university professors, researchers, and museum professionals. Among the activities celebrating the establishment of this prestigious museum on December 21, 1983, there was held the presentation of the second volume of “Studies on Museology” published in Chisinau in 2013. This volume on different aspects of museum work brings knowledge and encourages activities, and practical use of its publication is undeniable. Written in a clear and sober style, it will take an important place among the works devoted to this field of science. The proceedings were inspired by respect for the museum and museology and are a continuation of the tradition of museological research in the National Museum of History of Moldova. In honor of the anniversary there was organized a temporary exhibition “National Museum of History of Moldova: A Brief Illustrated History” aimed to refl ect the history of the museum and some parts of its activities during the 30 years by means of photos and documents. The exhibition was divided into several compartments: “Establishment of the Museum”, “The Museum Building” “Exhibition Activities”, “Educational Activities”, “Promotion of the Museum”, “Scientifi c Development of Cultural and Historical Heritage”, “The Museum’s Publications”. All the events organized on the occasion of the anniversary were attended by a large audience that through its presence and laudatory responses recognized and highly appreciated the efforts, hard work and professionalism of the museum staff.

21 декабря 2013 года исполнилось 30 лет со дня основания Национального музея истории Молдовы. По случаю юбилея в музее был организован ряд мероприятий. Программа юбилейного дня началась с Круглого стола «Стратегии сохранения и восстановления музейного наследия в Республике Молдова». Затем генеральный директор музея Еуджен Сава открыл торжественное собрание в Голубом зале музея. На собрании прозвучали поздравительные слова в адрес участников, общественных деятелей, университетских преподавателей, научных исследователей и музейных работников. Среди мероприятий, отметивших факт основания этого авторитетного музейного учреждения 21 декабря 1983 года, состоялась презентация второго тома «Исследований по музееведению», опубликованного в Кишиневе в 2013 году. Этот сборник, объединивший в своем содержании разные аспекты музейного дела, одновременно несет в себе информацию и побуждает к деятельности, и практическая польза его издания неоспорима. Написанный в ясном и строгом стиле, он займет важное место среди работ, посвященных этой области науки. Труды над сборником вдохновлены уважением к музею и музееведению и являются продолжением традиции музееведческих исследований Национального музея истории Молдовы. К юбилею была приурочена организация временной выставки «Национальный музей истории Молдовы: краткая иллюстрированная история», где представлено множество фотографий и документов, отражающих ретроспективу музея и некоторые значимые события на протяжении его 30-летней деятельности. Выставка состоит из нескольких частей: «Создание музея», «Здание музея», «Выставочная деятельность», «Образовательная деятельность», «Популяризация музея», «Научное освоение культурно-исторического наследия», «Публикации музея». Во всех мероприятиях, организованных по случаю юбилея, принимала участие многочисленная публика, которая своим присутствием и хвалебными откликами воздала должное усилиям, трудолюбию и профессионализму работников музея.
