Thу article is devoted to the translation problems connected to conflicts in the sphere of intercultural and interlanguage relations. These conflicts arise at different levels: at the level of different cultures or at the level of different mentality of source languge (SL) and target language (TL) representatives. At the level of linguistics conficts appiar at collision of language units in different aspects of the language. The trichotomy „reality – text - translation” suggests different types of conflict relations. As the pragmatics of translation demonsrates the resolution of these conflicts is possible only through adequate equivalent translation.
