This article is dedicated to the semiotic study of the verbal constructions with two simultaneous and different objects of the type “to teach French to the pupils” which are named by the researchers of French language “constructions with double transitivity”. The transitive verbs that are followed by two objects from which the first is a direct object (a thing) and the second object indicates a person in whose benefit the action is made and which is named the indirect object under consideration. These transitive verbs are used as centers of these syntactic constructions. When the elements are determined and complete each other with the scope of building the sentence. Complementing reports are formed between the transitive verbs and the postverbal objects. In French the transitivity is
expressed by the semantic insufficiency of the transitive verbs and by the faculty of these verbs to conduct the postverbal terms while in Romanian where the direct object is expressed by a noun in the Accusative case the indirect object is given by the form of the Dative case. The semiotic study demonstrates that the synthetic constructions with double transitivity are characterized by the same functional area and differ by means of their lexico-syntactic properties. |
