This article is dedicated to the study of the leaders of youth socio-political movements in the context of leadership theories. The author makes a review of leadership theories up to date and then analyzes leaders of the two socio-political youth organizations in the context of these theories. To analyze successfulness of the two leaders, at first the author evaluates qualities of the ideal youth organization leader, and the type of leader perfect for such kind of organizations. And then he explores how close to this ideal model are the two leaders. In the end the author makes a conclusion that successful functioning of the youth organization depends directly on how well someone is playing role of the leader and how close to the ideal leader model he is.
