The modernization of the symphony is realized in two directions at the same time: the first direction is intermusical and is centered round the renovation of the sonorous morphology and syntax; another direction concerns the search of new topical and penetrating conceptions. For example, Gh. Neaga`s last Symphony № 3 „Perpetuum mobile” reveals the eternal spiral of existence. V. Zagorschi`s
last Symphony № 2 makes evident the enigmatic and mystery of the subconscious of the man that finds himself in a gnoseological labyrinth. The Symphony by A. Fiodorova is conceived as a monologue perturbed by psychological conflicts. Symphony № 4 by D. Kitsenko, symphony “Eminescu” by T.
Zgureanu is penetrated with Christian sense. Z. Tkaci`s Symphony „Panopticum” reveals the mysteries of artistic creation with profound autobiographic tint. The Symphony “Under the Sun and Stars” by Gh. Ciobanu is centered round the philosophic telluric-sonorous-cosmic trihotomy. We come to the conclusion that during the last years the composers from Chişinău gave up the idea of both multiplying the traditional symphonic „models” and „revolutionary” innovations and are in
the course of creative exploration without which the further evolution of musical art is practically impossible. |
