Lucrarea de față prezintă o modernizare a centrelor de cartier destinate colectării selective a deșeurilor. Utilizânnd elemente de automatizare foarte ieftine și la îndemâna oricui, se poate face o evaluarea de la distanță a gradului de umplere a fiecărui tomberon de colectare și, împlicit, stabilirea unui drum pentru mașinile de colectare, evitându-se, astfel, risipa de carburant prin parcurgerea unui drum și colectarea deșeurilor dintr-un container cu un grad de umplere redus. De asemenea, pe bază colectării acestor informații și realizarea unui Sistem Informatic Geografic cu acestea, se poate proiecta o îndesire a rețelei de colectare a deșeurilor dar și influiențarea cuantumului impozitelor locale pe zone geografice, funcție de cantitatea de deșeuri colectată în unitatea de timp.

The present paper presents a modernization of the neighborhood centers intended for the selective collection of waste. Using very cheap and accessible automation elements, a remote assessment of the degree of filling of each collection container can be made and, implicitly, a route for the collection cars can be established, thus avoiding the waste of fuel through driving a road and collecting waste from an underfilled container. Also, based on the collection of this information and the creation of a Geographical Information System with them, it is possible to design a thickening of the waste collection network, but also to influence the amount of local taxes on geographical areas, depending on the amount of waste collected in the unit of time.
