The link between the environment (environmental dimension) and the economy (economic dimension) is «viable». This is the state when the environment provides natural resources that are useful and important for the survival of the economy for many years. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), adopted by the United Nations in September 2015 under the 2030 Agenda Program, set out 17 priorities for socially just, environmentally sound, economically prosperous, inclusive and predictable development. The basis for their formation was the Millennium Development Goals, which origin from the eight fundamental goals and covers such humanitarian issues as poverty reduction, hunger, diseases, access to education, etc. Without specific goals and measurable indicators with the absence of a set of data which allows analyzing the situation, especially at the local level, we run the risk of leaving the most vulnerable groups of citizens behind and being ineffective in responding to challenges posing a threat. Because sustainable development is based on the concepts of integration and the search for balance, they must be treated in conjunction with equal measure. The only way to get closer to it is to be sensitive while planning and evaluating projects, regardless of their progress and design.
