Rezumat

The sens i tometri c. rezo1vometric and dynamic characteristics of the spatial light modulators (LSM) with MDS-liquid crystal structure were investigated in theg wavelength range from 0.4 to 1.5 μm at applied voltage frequencies f = 103to 105Hz. The CdTe and GaAs(Cr) single crystal plates with thicknesses f = 10 to 500μm served as photoreceptors. The writing light modulation (with contrasts up to 100:1) was realized due to hybrid-effect in the nematic LC layers with the thicknesses 5 to 20 μm. The writing light intensities providing output contrast 2:1 at f about 2kHz were from 3 to 10 μW/cm2far CdTe and 0.5 to 2 μW/cm2for GaAs(Cr) in the sensitivity maximum, and if the times of electrooptic response switching on and switching. off were about 15 ms it corresponded to the energy sensitivity of (1-5) 107J-1cm. When f increases the sensitivity falls down as f(a is about 1.2-1.6). The resolution raises when f increases as well as l decreases.
