Although the majority of us uses social networks, few are aware of their growing role. Due to the options to choose topics and discussion groups specialized in a certain niche, as well as sorting users by age, studies, activity, categories of preferences and interests, social networks offer opportunities to promote not only LISD but also to build an active community around it. It is useful and important to know different platforms that bring us closer to users, to help them keep in touch with the library even during the pandemic when social network browsing has increased considerably. Attractive and interesting content strengthens user confidence, maintaining an active, diverse global community. The main purpose of the presentation is to prove the importance of online assets and the role they play in promoting the library.
