In the face of environmental and energy challenges, Europe is pressed to administratively manage the tourbulences in the system. Also, climate adaptation and resilience are domains that have a growing influence over the socio-economic aspect of european people’s lives. In this context, we examined if similar strategies are applied, with the supervision of European Union, by countries that are not members of EU (Moldova) and countries that are members of EU (Poland), through the policies they implement and adiministrative instruments at hand. Active steps and procedural commitment for achieving climate resilience in its declarative sense, was observed from both states, yet the available capabilities, including socio-economic, present different approches in terms of institutional structuring and monitoring. Poland is fairly ahead of Moldova in both aspects - achieved targets and available resources to continuously advance on the trajectory toward the new established goals, yet the ambition of Republic of Moldova is aligned to those of Poland in the limits of its potential. |
