Given article is dedicated to the problem of the current state of research on the epistemological heritage of the great Moldovan thinker Dimitri Cantemir. In line with the analysis of the already
published works on the subject, the author presents concrete directions for scientists that research the topic of life and activity of Dimitri Cantemir. Special attention is given to the libraries and archives of European countries, earlier in which were found documents belonging to Dimitri Cantemir, his father
and older brother. At the same time, Cantemirologists will be interested in the information and documents belonging to the Cantemir family that have been discovered in the library of the Vatapek Monastery on the Afon Mountain (Republic of Greece). |
