Rezumat

The paper presents the results of the monitoring of the hopper fauna in the vineyards established in Congaz village, Comrat district, Republic of Moldova. The observations were carried out from May to October 2022; as a result, there were detected 27 hopper species in the vineyard. Most of the species belong to the family Cicadellidae – 21 species, also there were identified members of families Membracidae – 1 species, Cixiidae – 4, Issidae – 1. Four out of those species are adventive imported from Asia (Arboridia kakogawana, Japananus hyalinus) and North America (Scaphoideus titanus, Stictocephala bisonia). Due to the use of the glue traps, there were obtained data on the seasonal dynamics of adventive hopper species and peculiarities of their behavior, as well as a number of potential vineyard pests were identified.
