The coordination compounds of the MLX2 · nH2O (M = Co2+, Ni2+, or Zn2+ and X = F-, Cl-, Br-, NO3-, or NCS-) type between cobalt(II), nickel(II), and zinc(II) and 4-phenylthiosemicarbazidodiacetic acid dihydrazide (C6H5)NHC(S)NHN(CH2CONHNH2) 2(L) were synthesized. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the free and coordinated ligand in dimethyl sulfoxide were examined. The MM2 and CNDO/2 calculations of the geometrical and electronic structures of L were carried out |
