Rezumat

Migration of Moldovans in Italy has undergone a series of structural changes in the past two decades. At first, Moldovans were illegal migrants seeking work in Italy, and later became migrants with legal status, especially during regularization that took place in Italy in 1998 and 2002 and obtaining by citizens Moldovan dual citizenship EU Member States (Romania, Bulgaria). International migration flows are not a new phenomenon in Europe. Migration processes have always been part of European history and have had a significant impact on the formation of companies and nation states as well as on labor market development and industrialization. In fact, migration has not stopped, never, except that it has adopted different characteristics, depending on the socio-economic and human community policies in different historical periods. Global economic and political context and individual sociodemographic characteristics of migrants have led to their different experiences in Italy. Migration to Italy was beginning, from the planned as temporary and is expected to a certain extent, showing the reverse movement, restore the place of origin.
