Waste management in the municipality of Bălți and North Development Region(NDR) is achieved through the implementation of Measure 1.2- „Optimization of public services in the field of Solid Waste Management and water supply and sewerage” of the General Objective of the Northern Regional Development Strategy 2016-2020 „Effective cooperation for balanced development and sustainable development of the Northern Development Region (NDR)” and the construction of the waste processing plant for the 7th Region of the NDR, in the property sector of LPA s. Bilicenii Noi. It was established that due to the economic crisis in practically all districts of the NDR, there was an essential decrease in emissions in the environment, which caused a non-essential impact on the environment and the health of the population. The study on the anthropogenic impact on the population health index trends demonstrates, that in most of the districts of the NDR, the anthropogenic impact had an essential pressure on the health of the population, confirmed by the increasing trend of the general prevalence of the population for most of the districts. The anthropogenic impact on the general incidence of the population is characterized at a non-essential value that ensures a state of equilibrium in the field of population health. The evaluation of the anthropogenic impact on the general mortality of the population demonstrates the fact that in the districts of the NDR, the value of the impact caused to the environmental components and, accordingly, to the health of the population can be characterized with a value that ensures a state of equilibrium in the field of health, which and ensures the reduction of the general mortality trend of the population for the municipality of Balti, each district in the given Region and for the general average of the NDR. The researches confirm that the ecological state that was in the period 2010-2020 ensures the stability of the development of urban and rural ecosystems in the NDR and in particular, the municipality of Bălți. This fact will ensure the successful implementation of the socio-economic development Strategy of the municipality of Balti, which will create conditions for the sustainable development of the municipality of Balti.
