Rezumat

The results of experimental research on corrosion behavior of the films formed by applying electrical discharges in impulse (EDI) are presented in this paper. It was experimentally established that oxide pellicles formed on metal surfaces increase their resistance to corrosion by 2-10 times beside the unprocessed surface. Graphite pellicle deposition with the use of pyrolytic graphite tool - electrodes increases superficial microhardness, their functional durability and processing productivityof the active piece surfaces. © International Journal of Modern Manufacturing Technologies.
