Khadzhibeev lighthouses. The article traces the movement of Emir Hajibey's horde in the 1360s and 1370s along the Black Sea coast between the Dniester and the Dnieper. The proximity of its camps and settlements to the seaside castles and anchorages of the Latins meant active participation in international trade. The inhabitants of Khadzhibey's Horde formed established settlements on the bases of their ulusbek's winter positions near key crossings (Mayaki, Adzhigol) and Genoese factories (Ginestra, Lerichi-Illiche). |
