Rezumat

Speech has a miraculous power. The reason for this power is that the word affects the human spirit very quickly. The word that touches the soul fascinates, changes and transforms people. The saying “In the beginning was the word” also emphasizes this truth. Man differs from other living things in that he can speak. One should think a lot about the ability to speak, which he brings ready. The ability to speak, which also regulates all social relations of a person, should be developed as much as possible. People with improved speech capacity will make a more positive contribution to the universe. The level of the word is very important. The word should not be swayed. Raising the level of the word is a very positive contribution from near to far. The development of the word means the development of people, homeland, civilizations and the world. The topic of conversation is a neglected subject by the Turkish education system. A speech education that will improve people is not given in schools. Poets examine speech as well as various subjects completely. In this context, poets say many words that will improve human speech. In this study, it is aimed to contribute to the literature in the context of speech by examining Edip Cansever's Gravity Carnation book with document analysis method.
