When we talk about the circular economy, we describe a new model of the economy that tries to keep the products in use for as long as possible and thus reduce the excessive consumption of raw materials and the massive amount of waste. One of the ways to reduce over-consumption is to extend the life of the product and to promote more sustainable consumption by developing business models that would aim to extend the life of the products. The aim of this paper is to study the types of existing business models based on product lifetime extensionand determine their essential characteristics compared to traditional business models. |
